WHAT MAKES WROCLAW POLAND SO FUN | BEST THINGS TO DO TRAVEL GUIDE

Welcome to our Poland series. We are travelling all around Poland by car. But there is a plot twist we are travelling around Poland during corona, so we will see what Poland is like during this time. The Polish road trip will take us to some of the best places across Poland like Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław and Poznań to name but a few.

Watch our Poland series from the beginning! ▶

In the previous episodes we checked into the fabulous Bridge Hotel. In this video we explore Wrocław Poland to get a better taste of the best things to do in Wroclaw Poland. In the middle of lockdown we make the most of our time in Wrocław Poland. Wrocław, ended up being one of our favourite spots along the way. With a cool University Quarter, Old Town Square, Cathedral Island and perhaps the best hotel we stayed at in Poland so far it didn’t take us long to feel at home.

  1. Babe, where's my passport?

Greeting from Puerto Rico where we miss you already, and thank you so much for the wonderful Poland Video series, they are awesome!! Poland, a beautiful country with so much history that is on my bucket list. I wanted to say that I enjoy very much your videos, you two are a wonderful, funny and beautiful couple. Happy New year and hope to see more of you two in the coming year, God bless always, Adios amigos!!

  3. Mick Angelhere's World

The city of Gnomes and the grumpy gas-lighter man , beautiful city.
12hrs from Poland to Holland , hmmmm I drove twelve hours and I was still in Queensland 👍👍👍

  4. As a Polish fella who lived in Ireland for the last 11 years I can only say THANK YOU GUYS for the whole series. You will be always very welcomed in here ✌️👏👏🤛

  5. The good thing about Poland is that you can stay in nice hotels, eat in restaurants 2 times a day, travel around the country seeing the tourist attractions and not worry you’ll be skint at the end of it. People just don’t realise how expensive Western Europe has become. A cup of coffee in Rome could set you back €10 just before the pandemic. What you are doing in Poland will cost you 500% more in countries like France or Germany.

  6. This video is so cool! I sort of believe in gnomes and pixies too:) Bless you for showing Poland in your series! I love all the videos and how happy you are exploring all these places:)))

  7. Have been binge watching all of your videos the past few days. Love you two!
P.s Theo walking up the Krabi trail still cracks me up 🥵😅
    Keep them coming!

  8. Your Polish series was just brilliant 👍 You gave us loads of historical facts and most of all many wonderful views. So what's next? Theodora is Dutch isn't she? So how about considering new series about another country high in history like the Netherlands? 😉

I’m watching YouTube since many years and I’ve never watched the entire series of any travel vlogs. I really enjoyed and it brought me a lot of motivation to have in the future some period of time in life just for traveling with the person I love. The way you’re telling the story trough video and share your experience is really cool, fun and damn, even beautiful! You can be really proud of yourself guys!

  10. mushrooms are very importan part of polish dishes served during Christmas Eve 🙂 Uszka for example – dumplings with mushrooms.

  11. I have really enjoyed your Poland trip videos. The rain made them even cooler. I have never been to Europe. I live in Missouri. There is a mushroom that grows here that is delicious, the Morel Mushroom. The gnomes are awesome, and the gas street lights are something out of a film nori.

  12. There is great story about the dwarf figurines. When Poland was communist country the authoritarian regime banned all oposition. In the 1980s in Poland social protests broke out, the opposition was forming (like KOR – Workers' Defence Committee or Independent Self-governing Free Trade Union "Solidarity"). The authorities tried to suppress these movements by force. One of the anti-communist underground movements was "The Orange Alternative" that was created in Wrocław. It was small group of people, who tried to ridicule the authorities, like painting ridiculous graffiti of dwarves on paint spots covering up anti-government slogans on city walls, doin happenings with slogans like – "help the authorities, citizen, beat yourself up" or people dwarfs dressed in orange hats shouted out cheers to the authorities. They often paraphrased slogans used by the Solidarity Union or the communists. Their role was to laugh at absurdities and pompousness of both sides of the system and provoke independent thinking. They often expressed anarchistic viewpoint. About 20 years after that monument with figurine of dwarf (symbol of the Orange Alternative) was placed in city. And next the city authorities initiated the action of placing dwarf figures in center of Wrocław. They became one of the attractions of Wrocław and there is more than 600 figurines of them now.

Wrocław has the best weather in Poland and hardly any rain – I'm sure when you're gonna come back next time, you'll be soaked with sun! See you and thanks for the great video!

  14. Want To Say AD REM

Happy New Year 2021 for you from Poland. 2020 was horrible, let's have a hope 2021 will be better 🙂

  15. Robert Grabowski

Nie rozumiem, dlaczego zwiedzacie Polskę zimą? Polska robi się piękna wiosną i latem. Jest bardzo zielono i robi się cieplej. No chyba że przyjechaliście na zwiedzanie Europy z …. Antarktydy.

  16. What a great videos! I'm going to stay with you. Geatings from Wroclaw (ps. Theodora you prounanced the name of the city real good!)

  17. Tom Guide Krakow

  18. Thank you so much for your amazing videos guys! Polish born, raised in Łańcut, I went to the Tech University in Wrocław and lived there 1991 – 1997. Then I moved to the Silicon Valley and having lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 23 years now I still get home sick and miss Wrocław in particular. Videos like yours help me feel like I am in Poland for a fantastic vacation which is invaluable in covid times especially 🙂

  19. Anthony Długosz

I’m totally surprised that you guys did not visit the Wrocław Main Railway Station, which is one of the most beautiful railway stations in Europe. And I’m also disappointed that you didn’t been to Warsaw, I know it’s maybe not prettiest town in PL, but this history is just amazing. But your films with polish journey was amazing. You should come back in normal times at the summer 😉

  20. thereissomecoolstuff
