Harajuku is a station located between Shibuya and Shinjuku on the JR Yamanote loop line around central Tokyo. Many people get off the train at Harajuku station to visit such popular spots as Yoyogi park, Meiji Shrine and Omotesando, a boulevard of luxury brands and other high end shopping experience. Historically, Harajuku was a post town, which is reflected in the Kanji Characters that make up its name “meadow lodging” But today Harajuku has a completely and global, appeal as a birth place of kawaii culture. This is a historical yet modern station in town of Harajuku. You can feel a lot of energy here. It is a good experience to feel history of Japan and look the future of young people. People from all over the world come to visit to feel and explore the kawaii culture of Japan.

Takeshita street is a pedestrian shopping street lined with fashion, boutiques, cafes and restaurant in Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan. The area is the center of Japan’s extreme teenage culture and fashion styles, but also offer shopping for adults and some historic sights. Because of the streets popularity it becomes extremely busy and crowded on the weekends. Interesting shops and restaurants can be found along the side streets. The are is best known for its bright colors anytime trendy shops. It is where Japan’s kawaii culture began and continues to thrive. This area is full of cafes and apparel stores with creative pop culture vibes. However, this area contains much more than just trendy spots. The iconic Meiji Jingu Shrine and nature-filled Yoyogi Park as well as the Ota memorial museum of art are also close to Harajuku stations. This combination creates a diverse array of ways for visitors to enjoy themselves in Harajuku.

Please visit Totti Candy Factory a sweet shop popular for young people in Harajuku. The signature item is its colorful giant cotton candy. Super cool shop.

Another famous snacks in Harajuku is the cream puff in Zaku Zaku. The cream puff is so creamy, milky and the cookie crust is so tasty. Highly addictive. Best snacks in Harajuku.
